Children's Farm Westerpark
The children's farm
"Westerpark" is a piece of countryside
within the city. This farm was established in 1998 with the
following objectives:
- acquainting city children with animals by offering an
easily accessible facility;
- contributing to the preservation of old breeds of domestic
animals.
Located in the park opposite Kennedy Van der Laan, this
children's farm receives regular visits from our staff
members.
To support the children's farm Kennedy Van der Laan collects
the remains of bread and vegetables of the daily lunch and gives
these to the children's farm to feed the animals. Also, one of
our attorneys, Eylard van Fenema, is a member of the board of the
Westerpark Children's Farm Association. Eylard is a member of
the Employment Law Group of Kennedy Van der Laan.
