Kennedy Van der Laan has been proclaimed the most innovative law firm of the Netherlands on
26 March 2010, during the annual award of the Golden Hourglasses, the award for lawyers and law firms.

On 10 March 2010 Sophie van Loon, attorney with the Intellectual Property and Media Law group of Kennedy Van der Laan, won the VIE award for her publication "Refusal to License as Abuse of a Dominant Position".

The Marian Kennedy Fellowship of this year goes to Peninah Nthenya of Safe Spaces in Kenya. As a fellow Peninah receives a grant of €15,000.
