Kennedy Van der Laan Extends its Corporate Transactions Practice
AMSTERDAM, 3 October 2011 – With Frans-Jozef Crousen and Hans
van Ramshorst joining the corporate transactions practice of
Kennedy Van der Laan, the firm is strengthening its position on
both the Dutch and the international transactions market.
Frans-Jozef Crousen and Hans van Ramshorst, both former partners
of Van Doorne’s corporate law practice, have almost 60 years of
experience together in the field of national and international
corporate transactions. “We are very happy to welcome Frans-Jozef
and Hans into our firm. They will further expedite the growth of
our activities in the field of corporate transactions”, says Louis
Bouchez, corporate law partner at Kennedy Van der Laan.
Frans-Jozef Crousen has been a member of the Dutch Bar since
1988 and he has been active in the corporate law practice for more
than 20 years now. Previously, he was a partner at Van Doorne. In
his practice Frans-Jozef mainly focuses on transactions: mergers,
acquisitions, business successions, management buy-outs, joint
ventures and other forms of collaboration. During the past years he
has particularly concentrated on transactions in the sectors of
sustainable energy and family businesses.
Hans van Ramshorst worked at (a predecessor of) Van Doorne since
1976, and he became a partner in 1982. His experience in the
company law field includes (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions,
reorganizations, international joint ventures and shareholders'
agreements. By combining his experience in the field of acquisition
financing and his experience in international acquisitions, Hans
has frequently acted for private equity investors in European
institutional buy-outs.
