David Korteweg
David Korteweg joined Kennedy Van der Laan as an attorney in
March 2011. He earned his bachelor's degree in law from Utrecht
University and specialized further in the fields of media law, IT
law and intellectual property law during his Research Master in
Information Law at the University of Amsterdam.
During his student years he also studied at the University of
Edinburgh and the NYU School of Law. One of his activities besides
his studies was working as a volunteer for the civil rights
organization Electronic Frontier Foundation in San Francisco.
After his graduation he worked for some months as a project
researcher at the Institute for Information Law.
In his spare time, David likes to go running, and – whenever he
can – windsurfing. He also enjoys reading, cooking and going to pop
concerts.
