Petra Oskam
Petra Oskam joined Kennedy Van der Laan in 2005. She specializes
in cases concerning personal injury, liability and insurance. She
advises clients - mainly insurance companies - and regularly
conducts legal proceedings on their behalf. Petra is therefore an
experienced litigator.
Apart from her work as an attorney, Petra is an editor of the
journal 'Rechtspraak Aansprakelijkheids- en
Verzekeringsrecht’ (Liability and Insurance Case Law). She
also regularly publishes in other journals. Furthermore, she often
gives courses and presentations, both at clients and in our office.
For example, Petra presents the current events in insurance and
liability law to claims handlers of one or our large insurance
clients several times per year, and she is a teacher of the
Liability Law course to trainee attorneys.
