Simon van IJsendoorn
Simon van IJsendoorn studied law at the University of Groningen.
Simon joined Kennedy Van der Laan as an attorney in 2007.
His practice covers all aspects of employment law, with a focus
on collective and individual dismissal cases. He acts as an advisor
and litigator for national and international companies in
particular, but he also regularly assists private individuals.
Problems relating to employees performing inadequately, sickness
and reintegration, and reorganizations belong to his daily
practice. Besides, Simon advises both employers and works councils
on the application of the Dutch Works Councils Act in the context
of takeovers, or for example the amendment of a remuneration
policy.
Simon is a member of Kennedy Van der Laan's Health Care
Group and Sports Law Group. He concentrates especially on the
employment-law and disciplinary law aspects of these fields.
Every two months Simon tracks case law and literature in the
field of incapacity for work for the employment-law journal TAP.
Simon is a member of the Employment Law Association and the Sports
and Law Association.
