Martine de Koning

Martine studied law at the University of Utrecht graduating in 1995. During her studies she spent a year in the USA and worked initially as a researcher and guest lecturer on intellectual property and IT law at the Universities of New South Wales and Melbourne, Australia. In 1997 Martine joined Kennedy Van der Laan, where she has developed a practice in both EU and Dutch competition law and in information technology law.

Martine has particular expertise in sales/distribution strategies, horizontal alliances and dispute resolution in related (complex) contract drafting in an international environment. She has extensive experience with cross border franchising. Martine regularly publishes articles and lectures on these subjects.
