Reinoud Westerdijk

Reinoud Westerdijk studied law at the University of Leiden graduating in 1990. He then worked at the Computer Law Institute of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam where he completed his doctorate in law in 1995 with a thesis on product liability for software and information.

Reinoud joined Kennedy Van der Laan in 1994. He is specialized in international contracts ('the more complicated, the better'), IT law, e-commerce and public procurement law.

In his spare time Reinoud is actively involved in all sorts of multimedia. He is an avid music fan, both listening to and collecting CD's and also going to concerts, he enjoys movies and other DVD's and also spends many hours behind the computer surfing the internet, gaming or trying out new software or gadgets.

His preferences within this multimedia experience are geared towards the unexpected (and extreme). He deafens his colleagues by taking them to his favourite heavy rock concerts.
