Kees Ruyter is responsible for the design of
this website. He is an independent designer who has been involved
in the communication of the identity of Kennedy Van der Laan ever
since the firm was established. From the very start, this identity
has always reflected a mentality rather than just a logo and some
color. An important part of this mentality is visualized in the
communication by using visual arts in the most autonomous manner
possible.
Ruben
Dobbelstein is employed with Goldfish ICT
(www.goldfish-ict.com).
As an advisor he participates in various IT projects, including the
Kennedy Van der Laan website. When creating or designing solutions,
he always starts from the principle that IT must have a service
function and must support the client's wishes. In Ruben's
view, his greatest challenge and added value is to converse the
complex technology into comprehensible advantages and
disadvantages. Ruben enjoyed participating in the creation of this
website.

Since the success of
their first partnership working for German paper manufacturer
Zanders in 2000, Martine Stig and Viviane
Sassen have collaborated more often. As a team, they
clearly complement each other. Their individual qualities remain
strong though, together, they are greater than the sum of their
parts. Their best images are a complete mix of cinematic snapshots
with a touch of vogue. Their individual input is clear to see in
varying proportions, though neither partner ever comes across as
dominant. Martine and Viviane both operate the camera -
occasionally at the same time. Quite often, they depict multiple
narrative moments to create tours de force of layering, dynamism,
and expression.
